Anusha is a published author and being Hindu, and a lifelong student of Hinduism and Buddhism, she has a vast knowledge in both. Anusha is also knowledgeable in the areas of meditation, pranayama, mantra, and the philosophy associated with yoga. Anusha is very passionate about honouring the roots of yoga and educating people on the importance of decolonizing these practices. As a result of her knowledge base Anusha has been invited to be a contributing teacher on very well respected teacher training programs and Yoga platforms including being Teacher and Host of the Finding Balance podcast at Yoga International and part of the Faculty at Off The Mat. Anusha is also a community partner with the Yoga and Body Image Coalition.

About Anusha

Anusha is a sought after motivational speaker around the world on the science of mindfulness and meditation. She has delivered keynote speeches for executives at Fortune 500 companies and top ranked Universities across North America and the UK. Anusha is the Wellness Consultant for Hoag Hospital, one of the leading hospitals in the USA where she is actively engaged on championing mindfulness and meditation practices for maternal mental health programs, early risk assessment for breast & ovarian cancer prevention programs and breast cancer survivorship programs. Anusha is one of the first people to create a meditation program to be used in clinical research at Hoag Hospital.

Anusha has over 15 years of international senior management experience working for Fortune 50, 100 and 500 global corporations, charitable organizations & private companies in three continents. She holds a BA, MA, Diploma in Mentoring, Certified Professional Life Coach qualification, Registered Yoga Teacher/RYT with Yoga Alliance and is a Meditation Practitioner. Anusha is on the Board of Directors for the non-profit MOMS Orange County and is very involved in working with inner city communities to bring the power of yoga for a healthy mind, body and spirit into these localities to nurture and empower change from within. Anusha co-founded the movement Womxn of Color + Wellness which focuses on increasing diversity, inclusion and accessibility in yoga and wellness. She combines her commitment to health and wellbeing alongside her professional business experience, to create a tailored program of assisting her clients and patients towards managing stress, developing personal resilience and disease prevention through cultivating a healthy body and mind.
